  • What a lovely restaurant! Stopped by chance to have a cup of coffee and decided to eat there. The restaurant is moderately contemporary but no too much, which is perfect fir me. The food and choice of food is very good as is the wine list. The service was polite and friendly and properly done. There is a good terrace outside if you just want to drink something. There are not too many restaurants open Sunday but I'm very glad this one was, it was well worth it.

  • Came to town for the castle. But then we saw this restaurant just on the main square just by the castle and it looked good. It was pretty full outside. Some firefighter group and a big tourist group were having lunch here. But there were some tables still available and the kitchen still open. So we had a quick lunch. Ordered 1/2 litre of their house wine. A light and crisp white. Went well with the food. Had the Foie Gras mi-cuit with sides and some lamb chops with side. The Foie Gras was solid, nice sized too. The lamb was very tender and had good flavours. Good fries on the side. Staff was very busy due to the large groups, but we had time. So that was fine. All in all an enjoyable lunch. Not the very very best. But a decent meal for good value. And the location is great with the castle views.

  • Popular friendly Michelin noted restaurant, with a good range from plat de jour upwards, similarly good range of wine.

  • Never fails to impress. The lady who runs the place with her husband, is always running about, serving customers rapidly and effectively, invariably in 6 inch stilettos and usually tight leather trousers. I have no idea how she stays upright. The food is excellent for the price (13 euros for a 3-course lunch). Eating outside in summer is fantastic, and with a great view of the Disney-esque chateau in front of you

  • My husband and I called in for Saturday lunch. We had goats cheese starter, entrecôte steak/lamb followed by cheese course and dessert (profiteroles). Everything was cooked and presented to perfection ! ! One of the best meals we have had for some time. Definitely recommend.
